Potty Training....UGH!

Ok, so Sunday night Emma started telling me "I pooped, I need my butt changed". Well, she didn't actually poop, but she did pee. The Monday morning she kept up the same thing. So, I thought to myself, ok she is finally ready to start the process. So, Tuesday we head to Walmart, she picked out some princess panties and was very excited about them. She wanted to put them on right there in the store. Well, it is Wednesday and when she woke up this morning I asked her if she wanted to wear her panties and she did. So, I put them on along with them plastic panties so I don't have pee all over my carpet. The first time she peed she flipped out b/c she was wet. I thought this is good, she doesn't like to get wet. So I changed her and put on new panties, next time she pooped, which wasn't dramatic b/c she wasn't wet. Well, onto pair of panty 3. Next thing I know she started flipping out on me again, b/c she was wet. I mean crying and all. So, I've resorted to putting the diaper back on her, b/c I don't want it to be so dramatic. Plus, she has NEVER peed in the potty, not even once. I'm kinda stuck, I don't know what to do. This potty training stuff seems to be so hard. She likes wearing her big girl panties, but she doesn't want to go on the potty. She will sit there for a while, but has yet to pee. Anyone have any advise? What in the heck do I do. I don't want to force it, b/c then she is just not gonna want to do it even more. So to sum my morning up, within 3 hours of being awake we have went thru 3 pairs of panties, 2 pees and 1 poop. I wish there was a potty training camp. lol

I know this is frustrating, but seriously she's young, and she does everything else SO early that maybe this is the one thing that she'll be average on. I will tell you that pull-ups just confused the boys...they do make panties that are thick (like as thick as cloth diapers) specifically for potty training and if you just start out at home in them and do pull-ups in public, that might help, eventually she'll get tired of being wet...especially if she figures out how to go on the potty. But it will happen, soon. and if not soon then eventually. I've also heard rave reviews about the candy and sticker incentive program! Good luck...I'd have more advice but Todd potty trained the boys! LOL!
