First off, I haven't uploaded my Easter pics yet, so I will have to do that post later.
Today I went back to the Diabetic Center and I went confidently. Well, boy was my bubble busted and in a huge way!! I thought I had been doing good, grant it this weekend it wasn't, but I chalked that up to stress and constant running. Well, the 2 nurses sat there in front of me and discussed whether or not to start my insulin shots today or at my next appt. I guess my sugar right now is at the point where I could use the insulin just whenever my sugar spikes, but it isn't totally bad. She said that my pregnancy hormones will increase around 25 weeks and that makes it difficult for the insulin to get thru the pancreus or placenta or whatever that is in my stomach. lol So, she said that she will be calling my doc today to get the perscription for insulin so that we will be ready to go at my next appt. Then she was like "I bed you to please call me if your start getting high sugar readings before your next appt." I was like, of course, I don't want to harm the baby in anyway. And even tho I really don't want to do shots, I'm not gonna avoid it. So here I am just waiting to go on insulin shots. She also said, we have no question about you going on insulin we are just waiting on when you go on it. So, fun fun is instore for me, but oh well. If my friends 5 year old can do, so can I!! Oh, she showed me the needle and asked if I wanted to give myself a shot of saline just to see that it doesn't hurt. I was like no, not yet. I will work on the courage for next time. lol
Anyways, so that is that. By the way, we have chose the official name for this baby boy. He will be Chase Andrew. Oh, one more thing....they was about to let me leave today and then I mentioned how the doc said that Chase is already big. Well, that made them discuss the possibility of insulin yet today. But as you know from what I wrote above, I escaped for now without any needles. lol
I will be sure to keep everyone update. Also, I will post about Easter and my little Miss Emma soon!! She looked so cute in her dress!!!

It's a.....
BOY!!
Yep, I was right! We are having a boy and boy is it a boy! He is not shy at all and showed everything he has. I will have to post a pic when I can get to a scanner. Everything looks absolutely great and the doc says he looks a little larger than average, so that means I will probably have another biggin. Matt is excited that he is gonna have a boy and I think Emma is disappointed it isn't a goat. lol (Last night she told him I was having a baby goat) As of right now, his name will be Chase Andrew. I have a total weight gain of 5lbs so far and the doc says that is fine. My sugar has been great, especially since I quit working. I have had tons of energy and have been enjoying cleaning. I am loving my new found free time and love not being rushed or on any kind of must do scedule. The only scedule I have is lunch, nap and supper. So, everything is going great over here and I will be sure to keep everyone update!! Woo Whoo I'm having a boy!!

It's Official!!
I'M A STAY AT HOME MOMMY NOW!!!
Yesterday was my last day at work and I feel great!! I am just so excited!!! I have so many things I want to do with my new "free" time. I've been in the mood for the last couple of weeks to clean and I mean really clean. So I think first on my list will be to do some much needed Spring Cleaning. I can't ever recall really doing an official "Spring Cleaning", but boy oh boy I am now. Plus, what helps is that I have finally been seeing a return to my energy. I have energy again, finally! It has taken me about 17 or 18 weeks to get it back, so I'm gonna take advantage of it!!
One thing I am really excited about having this time off, besides getting to spend all this time with Emma, is garage sales! I love garage sales and now that I don't work, I'll be able to get to the garage sales on Thursday and Fridays while everyone else is still at work!! I'm ready to find me some deals!! Now I've just gotta wait for this darn weather to break.
Emma and I will be going on lots of walks and many trips to the park as well. This is gonna be so great, I just can't tell you how excited I am. Oh and one of my goals is to potty train Ms. Emma before the baby gets here. Now that I will be able to be with her and keep things consistant, hopefully that will help it along.
And all of you that I haven't been able to catch up with and talk to for a while, you just might be getting visits. I plan to visit some friends for lunch every now and again, you know the ones that are trapped at work. lol I hope to have several play dates with the ones that don't work. And maybe, just maybe, I will be able to make a trip to Columbus and see those friends that I haven't seen in ages. You know who you are!! Oh, we could do a zoo date!! That would be awesome!!
Anyways, as you can see I am super excited!! But now I need to get back to laundry and just chillin with the family. But you should be able to hear a lot more from me now!
WOO WHOO!! I'M A STAY AT HOME MOMMY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS: I've added a poll off to the right. Feel free to answer, it will close Thursday at 2:00 pm. I go to the doctor that day at 1:00 and we will be finding out what we are having. So, guess if you want and then I'll post that day and let you know the results.

Oh the weather outside....
SUCKS!!! I have cabin fever, so bad!! I can't wait till spring. I just want to get outside already and do stuff. I want to be able to go for walks and play with Emma at the park. I'm not much of a gardener, but I want to plant some flowers and work in the garden. This winter, for whatever reason, has seemed so long and drawn out!!
For once, Columbus has gotten more snow than us. Usually, with being 2 hrs northwest of there, we get more, but not this time. My brother lives there and he has sent me pics of the snow, it's crazy. We have snow, but it is managable. Grant it, I'm not venturing to Lima, but I might head uptown in a little bit just to get out. Plus, we need bread. lol Isn't it crazy how one minute you don't go thru certain food items hardly at all and then next thing you know it's......2 gallons a milk a week, 2-3 loaves of bread, a jar of peanut butter every 2 weeks. It use to never be like this. It use to be where we only bought a 1/2 gallon of milk and was lucky to have it drank by the expiration date. Oh well, $5.50 a week for milk versus $27 a week for formula is better. lol
Okay, so I have an official quitting date for work. My last day is (drumroll please) March 14th, yes this Friday. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I am gonna be a stay at home mommy for a while and I am so unbelievably excited!! I will be home until atleast October, after that we will just have to see how it all plays out. Hopefully, if I have to go back to work, it'll only be part-time, but time will tell.
Well, nothing much else to tell right now, just bored outta my mind!!

We have names!
Okay, so Matt and I have finally discussed names for the little one. We have had the girls name picked out for a while now, but never could really agree on a boys name. Well, if we have another little girl we will be naming her Aubrey Grace and if we have a boy it will possibly be Chase Andrew. I say possibly, because we aren't 100% sure yet but it has strong possibilities. It has just been so hard to find a boys name that we both agree on, but this is one of the firsts that he likes and that I like. So we will see, we still have 21 weeks to go to change our minds. lol

Oh Happy Day!!
Yesterday was my doctor's appointment and everything went great. The baby's heartbeat is 160! One hyper little baby!! It was also nice and strong. The doc was happy with my sugar and wasn't worried at all about my lack of weight gain. He said that the baby will take what it needs and it will be fine. I go back in 3 weeks for an ultrasound. At which time we will get to find out what we are having, I am so excited I can't wait!!
This morning I went to the diabetic center. Ever since I had the flu, my readings have been really good. Well, I get in there and they take my sugar and then also have me take it with my meter. My meter was way off from theirs, so they checked it with another. Then they checked my strips to make sure they weren't bad. Nope, my meter is bad, it has been reading high for who knows how long. So, that means my sugar has been absolutely wonderful!! They gave me a new meter, so hopefully this one will continue to work properly. The dietician was happy with all of my readings and even threw in another snack for me. She said that I don't have to cut out my sweets, just maybe eat all protein for supper then I can have a piece of cake. I have been so hungry for chocolate cake with chocolate icing. YUM!! So, I left there quit happy!!
Matt is coming home tomorrow! I go to pick him up from the airport tomorrow and I am excited to see him and I'm sure Emma will be quite happy.
Also, in approx 2 weeks, I will be a stay at home mommy. At least for the next 6 months. My work has increased my route from 400 miles a week to 930 miles a week. Which is ridiculous!! So, they gave me the option of taking it or them letting me go and collecting unemployment. So, you guessed it, I will be home for the next 6 months b/c you know nobody is gonna hire some prego. I am looking forward to my time home. I will be able to help a lot with the remodeling, getting my house organized and hopefully with the extra time get to get Emma potty trained!! Plus, the last month of my pregnancy, it sounds like I will be at the doctors office more than I am at home, so work would have been impossible. Today has just turned out to be a fabulous day!!

Quick Update
Okay, so not a lot has been going on. But I do have some good news. I have been able to get my sugar undercontrol. I'm not sure how exactly, but I have. That is a huge relief. I was suppose to go to the Diabetic Center last Friday, but due to weather ONCE AGAIN my appointment was cancelled. So, I am suppose to go this Thursday. So far the weather isn't calling for any snow that day, so hopefully I will be able to make it. This weekend I have been eating a little more carbs than I am suppose to. We ate out a lot this weekend and I felt like I've done such a good job with my sugar that I kinda overindulged. I had a Big Mac, which by itself would have been fine, but I just had to add in a small fry. Then on Saturday night we ate at Ci Ci's Pizza (first time we ever ate there) and I finished the meal with one of their cinnamon rolls. Then today I had fish sticks (been craving them), which would have been fine, but I added a few fries and a 1/2 an ear of corn. So, my sugar was high. But back onto the strick diet first thing in the morning. It felt good to splurge and it wasn't like I totally went off the diet. If I don't do this everyonce in a while, I think I would go nuts.
Oh, the reason for all the eating out. Matt, Emma and I went and stayed in a hotel Saturday night. The 3 of us slept in a King size bed, mind you this is the first time Emma has ever slept in bed with us and I don't care to do it again anytime soon. She is use to being rocked for atleast a little while, so it was hard to get her to settle down. Then after she fell asleep at 10:30, she woke up twice crying before 1:00. Then for the rest of the night, her feet were in my face and her face was in Matt's face. And then the lovely alarm went off at 4:00am, it was time to get ready and take Matt to the airport. Yes, he is gonna be gone all week. Boy does this suck!! It is gonna be interesting how Emma handles it. She loves her Daddy, so we'll see how long she lasts before withdraw. So at 5:30 in the morning I am driving home from Dayton, which is about an hour away. But wait, this wasn't any typical morning, let's throw in some freezing fog that only allows you to go 45 down I-75. It was horrible!! Between not being able to see very far in front of me, but then the fog putting ice on my windshield. I was tired and just wanted to go home, but obviously I made it and in once piece.
This week I also have my doctors appointment. I will be 18 weeks on Tuesday, so I was hoping that they would be giving me an ultrasound, but no such luck. I called to see if I was scheduled for one and they said no. So I guess I won't be finding out what I am having until next month.
Well, it is going on 10 and I wanna go to bed, but first I have to get Emma to go to sleep. I will update after I have my 2 appointments.
