AGAIN!!

Ok, so yesterday I took Chase to the doctor. Which by the way, my mom made it over to watch the other 3 kids so I wasn't trying to watch all of them and try to answer questions while Chase screams! Anyways, he has yet ANOTHER ear infection!! This time it is worse in his right ear. I asked her if there was anything I could do to prevent him from getting ear infections and she said nope. Whenever I have him outside he has a hat on and I put a fleece blanket over his head and we really don't go out very often at all. I mean, last week we was only out on Monday and Friday. So, back onto the meds, luckily he takes them like a champ with no fight.
As for me, she took me off my birth control and back for more blood work. She is gonna have my thyroid rechecked and this time she is gonna do a more in depth blood test that checks the thyroid, I guess it's the same one she has my mom do. My mom has hypothyroidism, but last time my was testing closer to hyperthyroidism. So now I've just gotta find time to make it over to get my blood drawn. So, hopefully I can get that done real soon.

Just Stuff....

Ok, so I haven't been on here to update, so I figured I would do some updating on everything. Monday I took the kids to their checkups. Emma came in weighing 36lbs and is 38 1/2" tall. She is growing up so big!! Chase weighed in at 20lbs and is 28 1/2" long. He is also growing so fast! Chase got shots, but Emma didn't. He actually did pretty good. Monday evening we went to my parents for supper (we do this every Monday night).
Emma has been pottying in the potty this week pretty good. We've had panties on a couple of times, but sometimes she just doesn't feel like going. She is a true Bolinger, stubborn!!! lol By the time Friday came, the kids and I had been outta the house since Monday evening so I took the kids and we went uptown to the little grocery store. That was our huge outting! lol
Friday evening Matt and I went to the movies with some friends and saw Taken, which by the way is a really good movie!! When we got home, around 12, Chase woke up for a bottle and started coughing, a croopey cough. I thought, oh great. He didn't seem to have any trouble breathing, so I put the humidfier in his room. Well, sleep wasn't all that great that night. Saturday he was doing a lot better. He still coughed some, but not like he did that night before. Saturday we just lounged around the house like bums. lol Then Saturday night came and I went to put Chase to bed. Well, I could get him to sleep easily, but staying asleep is another story. Let's just say another night of not much sleep. Sunday I got outta the house and went to Lima to get some formula and to return things I have borrowed from friends for vacation. Well, I got home, fixed supper and then we all hung out together. Then it came time for Chase to go to sleep. Well, Matt finally got him to sleep, but we couldn't get him to stay asleep in bed. So, I started to lay on the couch with him on my belly, he was quite fine with this, but I knew I wouldn't get any sleep. So, I put him to bed, on his belly. I was a little worried, but he can roll really good so there is nothing stopping him from rolling onto his belly byhimself. So, I put him to bed got online and was double checking about him laying on his belly. Then I went to bed. I got maybe 3 or at the most 4 hours of sleep. Then he woke up again. I gave him a bottle and put him back to bed on his belly. Well in a 1/2 hour he was awake again. So, I put him in his swing and that is where he slept the rest of the night. In conclusion, I am guessing he has a ear infection, again! I swear he is hardly ever outside and when he is I have a hat on him and a blank over his head. I just don't understand how he keeps getting them. So, I am taking him to the doc today and hopefully figuring something out as to why he gets them so oftened. Plus to add to the fun of the doctors office, it is looking like I am taking all the kids with me, which includes my 2 nephews I babysit, since the latest appt I can get is 1:45. Not gonna be fun, but I've gotta get him in to get some meds. Well, I've been interrupted quite a few times while trying to write this so it probably hops from one thing to another and I might be ending it quite weird and leaving ya hang, but I've gotta get off of her and see if I can find someone to watch the other 3 kids while I take Chase to the doc. Ugh!

Prayers Needed

This is Tuesday and she has cancer. It seems as tho there is nothing more they can do for her, they are sending her home. Please keep her in your prayers. Below is what her Mom had to say when she found out.

"My deepest fears were confirmed. Tomorrow we take our precious daughter home. Her cancer doubled in size in less than a week proving once and for all that it is horribly aggressive and no longer chemo sensitive. We have no idea how to do this but we have no doubt we will be cared for every step of the way. This is all I have in me. Please pray for peace for our children, our parents and our siblings. Tuesday, full of grace, you are our so very loved."

Monday!

Ok, so Monday I will be taking the kids for their checkups. Emma's 3 year and Chase's 6 month, poor guy has to get more shoots!! Anyways, while I am there I am gonna have a major talk with the doc. I am gonna tell her that I'm not about to live my life this way and we HAVE to find out what in the heck is going on. I don't want to live the rest of my life not eating while outta my house in fear of getting diarehha and a major upset stomach. I don't want to struggle to make myself do stuff, b/c I don't have the energy to do it. I don't want to continue to eat 2 bowls of cereal every morning and drink Mt. Dew out the ying yang. I'm not settling, I'm gonna find out what in the heck is going on!! If that means blood work, so be it, if it means any kind of scan thing, then so be it! I am too young to feel like this and my kids need a mommy, not a zombie!! I wanna be baking and doing crafts, I don't wanna feel like laying around all day. I am really sick of feeling like this and I'm sorry that I am complaining, but it is getting quite old! So, Monday will be the day that hopefully my doc and I come up with a game plan as to what we are gonna do. So, keep me in mind that we can figure out what in the heck is going on.

What the heck is going on??

Ok, so last week I finished my period on either Monday or Tuesday. To my surprise I started spotting yesterday. How the heck does this happen?? I'm on birth control to help my periods out. I don't understand it and it kinda flipped me out. Plus on top of that, my bowel problems have been reappearing again. Not as often, but more often than what I would like! I really have no clue as to what is going on. I've never started spotting in between periods before, so I don't know why I would be now. Plus, on top of that I have been getting some crazy headaches. I believe they are sinus, but man they kill!! Then yesterday and today I have absolutely no energy!! I mean, none at all! I need to clean my house, but I just feel like laying around and sleeping, but I can't sleep with the little ones here. I don't know what my deal is. I wish I knew what the heck is going on with my body!! I just want to be back to myself, I would say normal but I know that would bring comments. lol But I would like to be back to what is normal for me! Ugh!

Energy. What's that?

Ok, so today I have been in a total funk! I have absolutely NO energy and I am so tired! I just wanna lay down and sleep, but that isn't possible. Plus, when my mom gets off of work she is gonna take the kids so I can go do some much needed grocery shopping (which I still need to prepare a list for). I just don't want to! Weather.com says it is 1 outside, yuck!! Plus, Chase has pink eye right now too. I guess tonight I will try to get the kids down to bed early and myself too!! Tomorrow I will have my nephews back, so I've gotta find some energy somewhere! I need a Mt. Dew!! That is totally my life line!!
On a better note, Emma has used the potty twice today and has had no accidents. So, we are doing good!!! Yippie!!

There is no place like home!

Okay, so all of last week we was in Marathon, Florida (which is in the keys). It was our Christmas present from my mother-in-law. The trip consisted of us, MIL, Brother-in-law and his family. We left on Saturday and didn't get there till Monday. The kids did excellent on the long car ride, I mean really good. We got to hang out outside on Tuesday. Emma loved playing on the beach, Matt walked around in the ocean (which he could go quite far out and still only be knee high) and Chase and I hung out in the pool. Chase and I was just bobbing around in the pool when all of a sudden he became dead weight, yep he fell asleep. It was just too cute. So, inside we went for him to finish his nap. Matt found a sea horse out in the ocean, it was so cool. He was gonna bring it home, but I guess sea horses are most likely not to survive if you take them from the ocean. Wednesday we went to the Dolphin Research Center. It was really cool. We got to watch a dolphin show, it is amazing what kind of stuff they can teach them and how well the dolphins understand what is going on. It was so neat and Emma loved it. Oh yea, by Wednesday it had cooled down to the 60's and was pretty windy so I didn't take Chase out much. Thursday we went to this really neat playground for Emma and Dylan to play. It was HUGE! I had never seen a playground like this before. They really had a great time. BTW, Thursday was also Matt's birthday!! He turned the big 28!! After the playground we went to this place called the Blue Hole. It has alligators and turtles, we only saw one alligator, but it was still neat. We then went back to the house and had supper and cut Matt's birthday cake. Friday morning we got around and headed back towards Ohio. This time the trip wasn't horrible, but Chase was def sick of being in a car!! He cried and threw a fit, but then would get over it. Oh yea, while in Florida Emma's eyes started acting up and getting a little swollen. I put some eye drops in them and they cleared up, well then Chase's started. So, we finally made it home Saturday night, which I am so glad to be back!! Woke up Saturday morning to Chase's eye almost swollen shut, we I called the call a nurse line and they said that it may be due to the fact that he had a blocked tear duct when he was younger, she said to have him seen in 24 hours. Well, we are going to the doc today to find out what is wrong. His eye looks a whole lot better!! But is still a little swollen and a little red. I'm hoping it isn't Conjuctivitis (however you spell it). My brother and his girlfriend and her son have been passing it back and forth. I guess my brother woke up one morning and couldn't open either eye because of the gunk holding it shut. His gf had to get a warm wash rag to clean it off so he could open his eyes. And not only is it nasty, but highly contageous!! I'm so hoping we won't be passing it around the house.
So, back to vacation. I will post pics soon, hopefully!! Florida was nice, but home is always best! Plus, it is just hard to vacation with a baby. All the stuff they require and that drive, next time we will fly!! Well, back to laundry. I think after 6 loads I am almost all caught up....lol!!
